Enlightenment

The Buddha, in his spiritual search, renounced all his worldly goods and
starved himself almost to the point of death, facing many demons along the way.
But he found himself no nearer to the truth by this personal mistreatment.
Close to despair he finally touched the earth, and in this moment he found enlightenment,
as we all can,
from the mother of us all.
