This painting was commissioned to help sell some land in Devon, which had planning consent for a property similar to this..
The land remained unsold for over a year, and the owner was getting frustrated, so the "artist's impression" was commissioned and reproduced in the estate agent's brochure. I think it maybe helped because shortly after the land was sold.
