This themed mural was painted for a young lad in his new loft conversion. I'm told he's one very happy chappy!
The mural had to be created in a very short time as there was a new littl'un on the way. Congratulations guys on your new baby girl!

This spider monkey sits in tree painted on the main door, and the foliage is painted over some fitted MDF cupboards
- a popular idea that works well.
The whole mural is coated with acrylic matte varnish for extra durability, two coats on the cupboards and doors..

The whole mural incorporates a tricky night to day theme, so it's daytime in the main area of the room,
and night-time in the alcove where the bed goes.

With their parrot friend and guide, the galleon drifts gently back out to sea..
To me it feels like this attic room is an airy mental escape in this central London house, so with the bustle of London all around,
one can float away from it all in a daydream, painted on the en suite door. ..but that's just me

Their treasure's been safely buried in a hidden place on the island, so it's off to plunder some more!

I call this the daynight jetty as it helped the transition in the painting.

The alcove where the bed goes has this nighttime scene, with moonlit treetops, warmly lit beach huts and familiar stars.
Watched over by the nightwatch and protected from the sea by the jetty, a good sleep should ensue ..mmm snuggly.
