Nelson and the Battle of Trafalgar Mural

Brixham Town Centre

Nelson and The Battle of Trafalgar Mural My largest project to date — a mural spanning three joined properties in central Brixham, painted for the local community group Brixham Future. It depicts Nelson and the Battle of Trafalgar (1805), a subject chosen for its local connection: Nelson and his fleet were stationed in Brixham back in 1801, and a nearby property visible from the mural itself on Union Lane was once used by naval officers, including Nelson and can actually be seen in the first image, the nearest bright building.
(The placard was finished after most of these photos were taken)

It was a real privilege to take on a piece of this scale, and to help mark a small but meaningful part of Brixham's history along the way.
